This sketch prints 'Hello World!' to the LCD and shows the time. There are many of them out there, and you can usually tell them by the 16-pin interface. The LiquidCrystal library works with all LCD displays that are compatible with the Hitachi HD44780 driver.

I didn't realize this instructable was for Visuino before I started breadboarding it and I almost had it completed before realizing there wasn't a traditional code sample here I could use to complete it because I'm not into Visuino and never heard of it.
